Rights and Responsibilities

At the beginning of each year, each class develops a charter of rights and responsibilities for the entire grade to abide by. This ensures that each and every student is provided with the very best learning opportunities at Diamond Creek Primary School. The rights and responsibilities form the basis for the development of classrooms rules (which reflect the broader school rules) and for the development of the yard rules when the students are at play.

Our basic understanding that every student has the right to be happy and safe, and to learn to the best of their ability at Diamond Creek Primary School and the recognition that we all have the responsibility to ensure that this happens, in turn fosters the safety and therefore the happiness of the students at Diamond Creek Primary School.
